Happy Sunday, Real Estate + American Vogue

This has been the bankiest of Bank holiday weekends, funky weather et. al. I’ve been listening to a lot of Morning Becomes Eclectic (whilst taking a break from the awesome Gidi Lounge, of course), working against a backdrop of (read: falling asleep to) Real Estate (see YouTube clip of “It’s Real” above) and Jason Bentley’s dulcet tones. It’s been one of those weekends where you (read: “I”) have a LOT of IMPORTANT stuff to do, but somehow you (read: “I”) end up faffing about on the interwebs (& watching season 1 of Mary Tyler Moore). All of my faffing and time wasting was not in vain, however. I came across this fantastic feature of a gorgeously natural-headed Vogue Bookings Associate (what a job!) Simone Tetteh (based on her last name, I’m guessing she’s of Ghanaian descent?) in the 5 days, 5 looks, 1 girl American Vogue web feature (the same one that profiled Vogue writer Chioma Nnadi and her fantastic orange pants/trousers last year). Ms. Tetteh is all kinds of gorgeous! I love how American Vogue is evolving, whilst remaining true to its history.

NB: For the fashionista’s amongst us, Liberty collaborated with Nike to produce a pair of sneakers in a print extremely similar to the one’s she’s wearing above.

NB: The dress she’s wearing in the photo above is H&M! Wow! I have what some may refer to as an irrational disdain for H&M (the stores I’ve visited have been too messy with too much going on). It saddens me to think this is what I’ve been missing out on!
